Giulia Anita Bari
violin (Italy)
She studied classical violin at the Venice Conservatory and graduated in Political Science and International Relations at the Universities of Padua and Florence. She works for numerous international organizations and NGOs in Italy and abroad (UNHCR, ActionAid, Oxfam, MEDU, SCI, Terra!), combining musical studies with humanitarian experience in the field. She gives life to numerous projects, including the Orchestra dei Braccianti, and collaborates with orchestras and ensembles in Italy and abroad (with the Albanian singer Elsa Lila, Renato Zero, the Rome jazz string orchestra of Maestro Marco Omicini, the Balkan Lab Orchestra, Federico Pascucci Cinematic Ensemble, etc). She likes to dance a lot.
Carla Mulas González
violin (Spain)
She studied at the Superior Conservatory of Music in Valencia, Spain, in classical violin and then devoted herself, in addition to the classical repertoire, to traditional music (flamenco, tango, music from Eastern Europe, Latin America, jazz). She collaborates with numerous classical and pop orchestras, dance companies and musicians (the Uruguayan singer Natalia Meyer, the guitarists Franco Tinco and Sandro Bagazzini, the guitarist and jazz composer Michele Frascà, the accordionist Paolo Rozzi, the harpist Valeria Villeggia, Renato Zero, she is a violinist of the Flirtango Orchestra and of the Balkan Lab Orchestra). She is a violin teacher in Rome at the Viva Musica e Arte dei Suoni schools. She has a passionate sound, at least as much as her great love for plants!
Rachel Blueberger
cello (Poland)
A young virtuoso of the cello, Rachel studied in Krakow and at the Bolzano Conservatory, graduating with honors. She awarded in numerous international competitions (1st Prize at the “Talents of Europe” Competition in Slovakia), in 2016 she becomes the principal cellist of the Italian Youth Orchestra. In 2019 she performed Barber Cello Concerto as a soloist with the Orquesta Sinfónica of Cuenca, conducted by Michael Meissner, in Ecuador and she performed at the Internasjonal Kammermusikkfest in Norway. In June 2021 she performs Dvorak Cello Concerto with the Monteverdi Orchestra conducted by Emir Saul. She is a cello teacher at numerous schools in Trentino Alto Adige. Besides all this sound, she is also an excellent painter!
Giorgio Gadotti
sax contralto (Italy)
A multi-instrumentalist, he has dedicated himself since childhood to the study of the guitar and has a passion for punk music. After graduating in Political Science he begins to travel the world, living on three different continents, in search of new sounds. He approaches the study of percussion and sax in Cuba, of the sitar in India and of the accordion, his passionate companion during a long stay in Australia. Back in Italy, he decides to devote himself to jazz, training at the Siena Jazz Academy, and playing in ensembles dedicated to the musical traditions of the Balkans (Baro Drom Orkestar, Balkan Lab Orchestra, Meraki Balkan Orchestra). He is an outstanding cook and farmer!
Nino Conte
accordion (Italy)
Nino Conte began studying the accordion in Naples in 2008 followed by various teachers. In 2011 he began to perform in various theater shows and popular music events. Soon he will approach other musical genres such as manouche jazz and Balkan music. Despite his young age he has had many musical collaborations. Among these, Marcello Colasurdo, Trio Tarantae, Gerardo Amarante and the spaccapaese, ‘A paranza d’o Lione, La paranza dell’agro, Mimmo Maglionico, Ars Nova Napoli, ‘O Rom, Daniele Sepe, E Zezi. He has also participated in many important festivals and events, including: Adriatico Mediterraneo Festival, Kontaminazioni, ‘O Rom Live in Bolzano, Roccella Jazz Festival, Procida Culture Festival, Musincka Balkan Festival, Urban Felix, Cologne Baroque Music Festival. By the way, he knows the best hideouts in Naples!
Giovanni Lo Cascio

Giovanni studied music at the Berklee College of Music and Ethnomusicology at the La Sapienza University of Rome. He has collaborated, as author or performer, with numerous artists in the musical, theatrical and cinematographic felds such as George Garzone, Hector Zazou, Alexander Balanescu, Le Mystère des voix Bulgares, Louis Bacalov, Pivio & Aldo De Scalzi, Novalia, Banda Ikona, Agricantus, Giorgio Barberio Corsetti, Maurizio Scaparro, Giorgio Albertazzi, Giorgio Tirabassi, Mario Monicelli, Massimo Popolizio, Aurelio Grimaldi. He has given concerts in Italy and abroad, specifically in France, England, Sweden, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Czech Republic, Hungary, Spain, Serbia, Portugal, Azores, Greece, Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Algeria, Kenya, Ethiopia, Cape Verde, Senegal, Brazil, United States. He has recorded over 50 CDs. Giovanni has often worked for the theater and composed numerous soundtracks for movies. He has taught at the Jazz University of Terni, at the Timba Percussion’s Center in Rome, at the University of Fine Arts in Rome and also privately. He was founder of the Juakali Drummers Project and artistic director and teacher from 2005 to 2010. From 2010 to 2015 he was musical director and teacher of the Slum Drummers group of Nairobi, Kenya, performing in Ethiopia, Spain, Brazil and in England for the Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee.

Diyana Vasileva, the voice of prestigious Bulgarian ensembles and choirs, as The Mystery Of The Bulgarian Voices. In Bulgarian Routes Diyana sings in Una Pizzica in Bulgaria, providing a significant contribution in the creation of a piece that blends Bulgarian and Italian folklore, also by learning to sing in just few days in a complex Southern Italian dialect (Salentino).

Kiril Belezhkov kaval player, composer and teacher of kaval and Bulgarian folklore in several masterclasses around Europe. In Bulgarian Routes Kiril plays in Una danza della provincia di Kardzhali, Krivo Pazardjishko and Una Pizzica in Bulgaria. He is the composer of Suite di Pirin.
Borislav Galavob

Borislav Galabov, composer and musician (gadulka and tapan) of prestigious Bulgarian ensembles – Ensemble Trakia, National Ensemble Filip Kutev – and a soloist in the Bulgarian National Radio Orchestra. In Bulgarian Routes Borislav plays in Una danza della provincia di Kardzhali, Suite di Pirin and Una Pizzica in Bulgaria. He is also the composer of Krivo Pazardjishko.
